What’s New in Helm CONNECT 1.28+?
Welcome to our first minor release! Hot on the heels of Helm CONNECT 1.28, we’re calling this one Version 1.28+ or 1.28 “Plus.” Although it’s smaller than one of our typical releases, it’s packed with features and improvements suggested by you, our customers. Let’s take a look.
Track and Report on Your Labor
Now you can easily track and report on the time your crew spends on tasks, checklists, corrective actions, and forms. You have full control over the settings for this feature and can make the labor-tracking fields required or not required or even hide them altogether, depending on the information you need to track.
Plan Your Expected Part Usage for Checklists and Forms
We added some great new features to help your crew plan their work and ensure they have all the necessary parts on hand before starting a checklist or form. We also enhanced our reporting options so you can plan ahead by reporting on the parts you expect to use each time a particular item comes due and, after the work is done, create reports comparing the parts you expected to use versus those that were actually used.
Use Smart Filters to Manage the Parts List for Your Crew
With the help of some smart new filters, we’ve made it easier for your crew to find the exact part they need for a task or a requisition.
Be sure to check out our release notes for more details about Helm CONNECT 1.28+, and subscribe to our newsletter to stay up-to-date on the latest Helm news. Your account manager would also be happy to answer your questions about anything in this release or to set up a demo for you.
And just one more important thing before I go: are you ready to take the stage at Helm Conference this year? If you have something interesting to share with the Helm Conference community, we want to know about it! We’re looking for either 10-minute short sessions on success stories or 25-minute talks on in-depth best practices. Check out this blog post by our Event Director, Jonathan, for all the details.
