We’re less than two months away from Helm Conference 2023, and it’s full speed ahead on our end. Besides shoring up logistics and operational details, one of the things we’ve been hard at work on is something brand new for Helm Conference – an app!
Yes, if you regularly attend conferences and trade shows, you’ve probably used an event app before, but this is new for us, so let’s roll with it. The Helm Conference app will allow you to keep up with news, updates, basic information, speaker profiles and the agenda. For those of you attending our supercharged Training Day, the app is also how you register for your sessions. Here’s how:
- Download the app and create a profile.
- In the app, go to “Program” and make sure you’re on Tuesday.
- Select the course(s) you want and hit Book
Each course is limited to 20 participants, so don’t delay – register now! And if you have a Conference Only pass but would like to upgrade to attend Training Day, just email us and we’ll take care of you
Personally, I’m excited about the app because it makes Training Day registrations way easier to manage. Plus, we can push out changes and updates in a quick and efficient way, because as anyone who has ever planned an event before knows, things happen!
We’re still a bit new to an event app, so bear with us as we look to make it as useful as possible. We’ll keep updating it as we get more details locked in, but you should go ahead and check it out now.
Spousal Tickets Available Now!
Another thing that we have available are Spousal Tickets. We get a lot of requests from attendees about their partners being able to join in the (legendary) fun of our social events, and doubly so when it’s in a hotspot like Fort Lauderdale. That’s why we have Spousal Tickets! These can be added to your order, or purchased separately if you already have your tickets. The more the merrier!

Well, that’s it for this blog post. I’m going to turn back to getting fun avatars for our speakers, and also coming up with snappy titles for some presentations (how about “When Ship Hits the Fan: Propeller Collision Mitigation”? (not a real topic!)) I’m also working on a great new design for the conference shirts, so stay tuned for that.
